For the first time, the meeting will include a
patients’ session , during which international experts will present the latest advances on three crucial
topics, and answer questions from patients, who will be attending both in person and online.

The meeting will continue with a basic science session , whereby the latest advances in our understanding of the pathogenesis of autoimmune liver diseases will be presented by leading experts in the field. There will be also contributions from different immunology areas, fr om whom very precious lessons can be learned to advance our knowledge of liver autoimmunity. The second part of the meeting will be devoted to the clinic , whereby world renowned experts will lead the attendees to understand emerging topics, highly relevant for the daily clinical practice.

The meeting program foresees plenty of time for discussions, a very precious opportunity to share opinions and new ideas, and fo r networking. We invite the attendees to contribute to the meeting by submitting an abstract . The discussion of their work with peers will improve their basic and clinical knowledge on these rare, severe but fascinating liver diseases, leading ultimately to better patient care.
